It's not only in winter that you can experience the peaks of the Salzburg Province. In summer too there are numerous of ways for walkers, hikers, and sun-worshippers to enjoy the lofty heights of the mountains. Four modern cable-cars take you up to the green peaks of the Pinzgau mountains, where you will feel a little bit closer to heaven. It's a comfortable ride up to 2000 m and then off in different directions. Mountain bikers discover the 200 km of sign-posted trails and walkers the 400 km of mountain walking paths.

And to discuss the excitement of the day everyone meets up in the 30 traditional Austrian alpine huts. Beware, you may experience so-called "high-altitude euphoria" but this is quite natural considering the beauty of the stunning alpine surroundings!
